School Visits
Waterfall Springs Can Visit YOUR CLASS!!
Waterfall Springs offers school students and teachers a fun and interactive learning opportunity that will enable students of all ages to better understand the plight of Australia’s endangered rock-wallabies.
Go beyond the class room learning books and meet up-close Waterfall Springs Animal Keepers and one of our own rare and precious hand-raised rock-wallaby joeys.
This school learning opportunity will inspire students to discover and connect with Australia’s wildlife and take action to help protect Australia’s natural environment.
What you need to do
Fundraise within your classroom to Adopt A Wallaby for $75.00.
You could make this fun by pinning your own Wallaby Pouch to the classroom wall with each class member making a donation once a week until the fee has been reached.
Contact Waterfall Springs to arrange your personalised school visit and present your Wallaby Adoption fee to us on the day.
What Waterfall Springs will do
Provide a guest Wallaby Keeper to visit you in your class room and talk about our work with saving endangered rock-wallabies.
Where possible and when available we will bring to your class room a hand raised rock-wallaby joey for an amazing close-up wildlife experience.
Present your class with a membership certificate.
Provide students with stickers, collector cards and the opportunity to enter our colouring competition. Invite students to submit their wallaby artworks or stories for display on our website.
Click here to contact us for more information.
Note: Schools outside the Central Coast Area Region will need to cover travel expenses.
