FRIENDS OF WATERFALL SPRINGS
Friends of Waterfall Springs is an exciting volunteer opportunity to join a leading conservation initiative and help make a difference to save our precious wildlife.
The aim of Friends of Waterfall Springs is to provide active volunteer support to the Waterfall Springs staffing team so that we can deliver our Brush-tailed Rock-wallaby conservation objectives.
As a non-for-profit and membership based organisation, we represent the community in promoting urgent environmental solutions through research, veterinary expertise, skill development, education and partnerships and we do this with integrity and passion. Our long term survival depends on the enthusiasm of our members and our dedicated volunteers who play a vital role in the ongoing operation of Waterfall Springs.
Activities for which assistance is required include but are not limited to the following:
General administration
- Bookkeeping - logging of operational costs and project works against budgets etc
- Processing of accounts - MYOB
- Membership processing and recruitment

Sanctuary Maintenance
- Weed control, general fire hazard reduction.
- Fence repairs, access road repairs, walking track repairs,
Marketing
- Sponsorship and fundraising support
- Participating in promotional and community events including Threatened Species Day,
CEN eco stalls etc - Website maintenance, blogging
- Contribute articles for publication online, in newsletters, magazines etc
- WS information brochure letter box drop
Animal management
- General care including feeding of animals and cleaning of enclosures
